Primerus Releases its 2019 Labor and Employment Law Compendium

Primerus has released its 2019 Labor and Employment Law Compendium. The purpose of this compendium is to provide a general reference to the applicable law in each state on issues relating to labor and employment law and litigation. This compendium is prepared by members of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group of the Primerus Defense Institute, including Demorest Law Firm, PLLC, who co-authored the Michigan section. Primerus’s labor and employment lawyers represent employers and management executives in litigation and administrative proceedings, preventive counseling and compliance services, audits and training, contract drafting, review and implementation, and dispute resolution.

Because each state maintains its own set of labor and employment laws, Primerus’s compendium is a good resource on labor and employment law across the country. Some of the topics addressed include at-will employment, the hiring process, employment contacts, tort claims, and discrimination.
