Ivana Taylor wrote a very good article on how to generate leads titled “7 Easy, Low Cost Ways to Generate Leads and Keep Customers”.
Her article provides a detail list on 7 ways to generate leads. I find that item 4 is one that few people are comfortable in doing because it requires you to physically ask for something.
If you are uncomfortable in doing this you can do what we have done. Our firm has added the following to the signature lines of our emails, “The best compliment for good service is a referral”. After all you can’t get a referral if you don’t ask for one.
