Congratulations to Emily Smith on graduating from Wayne State University Law School. Emily has worked with Demorest Law Firm as a Law Clerk since 2023 and will be joining us as an Associate Attorney after she completes the bar exam.
During law school, Emily served as the Editor in Chief for the Journal of Business Law. She recently published Deficiencies with the Commercial Activities Exception, 8 Wayne J Bus L 67 (2025). She was also a member of the Moot Court team, participated in the Taft Transactional Law Competition, and was a Student Attorney for the Immigration and Asylum Clinic.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Kalamazoo College in 2022.
