IPSE-U.S., a Detroit based not-for-profit organization founded in September by former Kelly Services CEO Carl Camden, aims to create a political voice for independent workers. The organization recently asked independent workers to support their initiative by signing The Declaration of Independents. IPSE-U.S.’s goals include (1) creating a focus on independent workers in the federal government; (2) providing fair and equitable tax treatment; and (3) removing barriers to fair and equitable benefit structures.
